2023-24 Season Announced!

The Nova Scotia Honour Jazz program offers student instrumentalists and vocalists of all abilities an opportunity to learn jazz and take their playing to the next level in a fun atmosphere with some of the finest jazz educators and performers in the province. It is not necessary to know about or have played any jazz, students are placed in groups based on their ability and their interests.
Young musicians from across the region form fast friendships while learning and playing in big bands and combos, at a junior or senior level. Vocalists have the opportunity to sing with a Vocal Jazz Ensemble and with one of the bands.

New Member Sign Up: all new members must have their music teacher (school or private) complete a recommendation using the form provided.

Returning Members: no recommendation required. Just register!
